Project Manager to join the team with an immediate portfolio of $15m worth of
work across 4 – 6 different projects in various stages.
With continued steady expansion of the
business there will be the opportunity before the end of the year to apply
internally within the business for a Construction Manager position so career

Your Role
You will be delivering a wide array of
civil construction projects for this contractor all close proximity to home
as the Director understands the need for people to enjoy a work/life balance
and does not want travel to be a mitigating factor as is usually the case in
the industry.

This is an exciting and
multi-disciplined role as you actively bid, win and then construct the projects
on your books. You will have the opportunity to mentor a young
engineer underneath your wing and will form part of a team of a few project
managers that report to the Construction Manager and the Director of the
business with career progression on offer in the form of a Senior Project
Manager role being considered in the business which will offer more money, more
responsibility and more seniority.

As such, the successful candidate must
have:

a rule of thumb: 3-5+ years Civil Project Management experience - A
Degree in Civil Engineering - Experience
in the construction methods and systems required for civil projects - A
firm base of relevant technical and engineering skills and knowledge - Great
liaison skills with various stakeholders - Autonomous
work and management practices - Strong
planning, financial and cost control methods - Estimating
experience a major bonus
