is your opportunity to join our experienced Wrest Point Kitchen team. Working
across a number of different restaurants we can provide you with variety and
skill advancement.
Working
as a Commis Chef under the support and guidance of our senior chefs, you will
be responsible for ensuring high quality food production, expert delivery of
product, ongoing customer satisfaction and

maintaining the kitchen and
equipment to an exceptional standard. As a cooperative member of the kitchens
team, you will also provide regular assistance and training to the Apprentice
Chefs and other kitchen staff. With a hunger to continually update your
knowledge and keep abreast of emerging trends, you will be efficient with your
workload and proactively seek tasks and feedback to advance.

To
be a contender for this role you will have:
  • Completed
    your trade certificate (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through an
    apprenticeship) and have proven experience in a similar level role within
    industry,
  • Enthusiasm
    and passion for your trade,
  • An
    understanding of and adherence to WHS standards & policies, food
    safety requirements and industry codes of conduct,
  • Capability
    to effectively prioritise tasks and manage your time in a high volume
    restaurant environment,
  • Demonstrated
    ability to work independently as well as a cooperative member of a team,
  • A
    flexible approach to working hours over a 7 day roster including weekend,
    public holiday and evening shifts.
