World Vision Ghana (WVG) is
looking for a highly qualified, proactive, and motivated person to fill the
position of Sponsorship
& Admin Officer 

Job Summary

To ensure efficient management of
Gift Notifications communications between sponsors and donors and children,
their families and communities, in compliance with the standards of the
partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Include but not limited
to the following;

  • Ensure that the rights and protection of children are
    respected in operational processes of sponsorship according to the
    standards of World Vision Global policy.
  • Record, process and monitor all Gift Notifications
    received and sent  to field
  • Ensure last quality review of all Gift Notifications
    received from field offices for mailing according to the partnership
    standards and timelines.
  • Generate, analyze and send weekly Gift Notification
    (GN)   reconciliation report   to the field offices to
    ensure that GNs are processed according to standards.
  • Facilitate proper management of Sponsorship issues
    raised by Audit on Gift Notifications.
  • Visit and provide support to field staff on the
    management of Gift Notifications.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sponsorship
    Department.

The Package

  • The position is based in Accra some level of travel.
  • The position comes with an attractive salary and benefit
    package.
  • S/He reports to the Sponsorship Manager.

Required Skills or
Experience

  • HND / Degree in Development studies, planning, Social
    Science disciplines or related field.
  • Knowledge in data management.
  • 2 years of experience in relevant field
  • 2 years experience in development programming.

Critical Competencies

  • Analytical and critical mind
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to and interpret statistics and produce reports.
  • Strong passion for children and their wellbeing
  • Good at details and meticulous
  • Good understanding of child protection and child rights
    issues.
  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above
    denominational diversities
