World Vision Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator Job Vacancy in Rwanda

Our client World Vision is a Christian, Child focused, Humanitarian, Development, Relief and Advocacy implementing projects/programmes in over 14 Districts of Rwanda and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the vacancy above;

Job Objective:
To plan, develop and manage project’s performance Monitoring & Evaluation system, establish information/data base for management purposes in line with World Vision Rwanda mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee development and administration of the project performance M&E tools to track indicators in line with the project Logframe, Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and M&E Plan
• Coordinate identification of target groups and conduct M&E exercises and strategies among project beneficiaries and other stakeholders, including women and/or children, by organizing and conducting surveys, focus-groups discussions, individual interviews or other approaches as agreed
• Compile and fine tuning M&E reports (and contribute to overall project progress reports) for management decision making in line with the project implementation plan and donor requirements.
• To monitor and assess the validity of the M&E findings/recommendations, to identify primary duty-bearers among project management and other stakeholders included beneficiaries, to identify possible remedies and the most effective ways of influencing duty-bearers, to agree and implement courses of action.
• Provide supervision to the M&E team, and technical support to the project staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders on M&E according to WVR evaluation strategy & donor requirements

Qualification and Skills:
• University degree in development discipline. A post graduate qualification in evaluation is an added advantage.
• Have at least three years field experience in monitoring and evaluation: designing, preparing and conducting surveys, collecting and analyzing baseline data, and reporting.
• Must be able to work in a team and be prepared to lead and train subordinates.
• Knowledge of statistical and qualitative data analysis packages e.g. SPSS, Epi-Info, etc.
• Knowledge of GPS mapping software is an added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English, and a good trainer
