Applying
for the Churchill Scholarship
These instructions
for the Scholarship Application of the Winston Churchill Foundation of the
United States are effective January 2016. The application, the instructions,
and the form for the letter of recommendation supersede all earlier versions.
The next application
deadlines for the Churchill Scholarship are:
- Thursday,
November 10, 2016 - Tuesday,
November 7, 2017 - Wednesday,
November 7, 2018
These are the dates
by which the application must be sent by the Campus Representative in an email
transmission to the office of the Churchill Foundation.
Please note that
each institution participating in the Churchill Scholarship Program may
nominate only two candidates for the Churchill Scholarship and that each sets
its own internal deadline for the local review of the Churchill Scholarship
application and nomination of the two candidates selected. Please be sure to
check with your Scholarship Advisor the procedures and campus deadline for the
Churchill Scholarship.
Choosing the right
course for you can be far from straightforward, and you should check the Programs of
Study page for a guide and a list of ineligible courses.

. Please note that you
must apply separately to the University of Cambridge and that you must put Churchill College as
your first choice college, even if you are also applying to
other scholarships. The Churchill Scholarship is only tenable at Churchill
College.

copy, which is intended solely for your reference. Please note that this copy
includes only those sections that are in the online application and not the
documents that you upload to the application.
