guests as well as the ability to form good relationships with camp management

GUEST
RELATIONS CONSULTANT (MAUN BASED)
Purpose of
the Job
The Guest Relations Consultant is at the fore front of customer service in
communicating guest related information between regional reservations offices
and WS camps. They assist camps with all guest related queries, itinerary
changes and any other guest requirements. He/ She coordinates and communicates
any guest issues to customer care consultants and assists with all aspects of
the Guest Operations division where required.
Requirements
Key
Performance Areas:
- Responding
to Agent and Customer enquiries. - Management
of Reservations to designated agents and Walk In Guests. - Management
helicopter bookings. - Facilitating
Itinerary changes. - Effectively
managing all daily Guest Operational issues. - Debt
collection. - Administrative
duties.
Minimum
Requirements – evidence of:
- A
National Diploma in Tourism Management or equivalent. - A
minimum of 5 years’ experience within the hospitality industry. - Lodge
Management background and knowledge of the Safari lodge business is
preferable. - Computer
skills (MS Offi ce suite). - Knowledge
of WISH and TourPlan Reservation systems will be an added advantage. - Numerical
skills with the ability to perform basic tasks of accounting.
