Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Events Coordinator Job Vacancy in Australia

The role of Events Coordinator is to project
manage, grow and enhance Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter’s special events
by working within the fundraising team to achieve agreed income and public
relations outcomes.
The role requires a ‘hands-on’ approach to manage
the strategic development and implementation of the Service’s major events
which includ the Lismore 4WD Caravan Camping & Marine Show, Hell on Wheels
Cycle Tour, Chopper Walks, Rescue Rumble and Trinity Drive Christmas Light Up.
The successful applicant will be responsible for;
reviewing and reporting on activities against objectives, managing event
budgets and annual planning, event timelines, preparing Risk Assessments and
Emergency Incident Plans, procure and retain event sponsors, liaise and help
coordinate event volunteers, coordinate the preparation of event grap

hic
artwork and assist with media content.

The role requires the applicant to have at least 3
years event management  experience, sound communication skills, strong administration
and computing skills, good understanding of WHS, a high level of social media
knowledge and be able to work autonomously.
The role is part time (4 days a week) and offers
the benefit of salary sacrifice as part of the employment package.
