Circa $175K package –

Initial 12 month
role with a view to extend to full time for right candidate.

Regional Office
based role leading the delivery of two concurrent road upgrade projects via two
small site-based site-management teams.

A relevant four year
engineering degree (Civil or Structural) with demonstrated experience in
managing major infrastructure or other complex projects with a good knowledge
of project implementation, including i
deally GC21 contract management
experience.

Demonstrated
knowledge of technical aspects of materials, equipment and techniques used in
road construction, and knowledge and experience in the use of Quality
Management Systems, WH&S, risk, environmental management and related
computer based management tools for projects.

Demonstrated ability
as an effective manager, with ability to work effectively in project teams and
the ability to lead and motivate teams in projects.

Well-developed
communication skills with an ability to deal tactfully and effectively with
people at all levels and the capability to develop flexible and workable
solutions.

Demonstrated ability
and experience in claims processing, valuation of variations, dispute
resolution, and overseeing professional and construction contractors, ideally
with experience in the role of Roads and Maritime Representative.

Commencement within
2-4 weeks.
