The Sorauren Farmers’ Market is looking for an active, hard working, positive
and organized person to fill the position of:
Market Locations Manager
The job will include:
• market logistics, set up and tear down
• volunteer training, leadership and appreciation initiatives
• managing community communications
• advertising and signage
• special event organizing
• communicating with vendors
• other tasks at the market as needed
Candidates must be:
• great at working quickly and efficiently
• very good with the public and excel at communication
• able to do physical work such as lifting tables and tents
• able to problem solve in a timely manner
• resourceful
• able to work collaboratively
• reliable and punctual
• available all day on all Mondays
Other skills or qualities considered an asset:
• creativity
• print design ability
• building or woodworking experience
• advertising experience
A knowledge of our local community is a strong asset, as well as is a passion
for local, sustainable food.
We are looking for someone to commit to the position for at least one year.
This is a very physical position that involves a quick pace and heavy lifting.
