Baumeier Corporation provides custom machining, fabricating, welding and design support services to its customers in electronic, medical, renewable energy and water purification industries. We are currently hiring for the following position on our permanent afternoon shift (4:00pm – 2:30am ) Monday- Thursday
Welder/Fitter
Must have a minimum 5yrs welding/fitting experience in a custom fabrication environment.
GTAW (tig) experience of mild and stainless steels required with GTAW of aluminum and GMAW (mig) mild/stainless steels an asset. Preference given to CWB certified applicants.
Blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretation required.
Experience with fabrication equipment ( brake press, shears, ironworker, etc ) an asset.
Applicants must have a positive attitude, possess good organization and communication skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
