an association for the Water boards in Malawi and also a Governing Member for
Malawi to the International Water Association (IWA), which is a global network
of water professionals, WASAMA invites suitably qualified and experienced
applicants to fill the position of Administrative Assistant tenable in Lilongwe

Reporting to the Executive
Secretary, the AA will be providing general clerical and administrative support
as follows

Providing Secretariat service
to WASAMA Secretariat, Manage, organise and update relevant data using database
applications, Communicate and provide information by relevant methods
internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and
effective service to connecting groups, File data and perform other routine
clerical tasks as assigned, Order and maintain relevant office supplies for
effectiveness of office duties, Operate a variety of standards office machines,
including a personal computer and a variety of computer software, phone, fax,
calculator, shredding machine and photocopy machine, Perform reception duties
in an efficient, professional and courteous manner, Any other Administrative
duties as may be assigned from time to time

Applicant must be holders of
an Advanced Diploma in Administrative Studies with full Secretarial
qualifications from recognised institutions plus at least 2 yrs practical
experience

Candidates should have strong

Candidate will be appointed
on a 3-yr contract renewable subject to performance, Remuneration and benefits
will commensurate with qualifications and experience
