hers take notice! Walk T.O. guides
teach students about the city’s history, eco-prowess, art and diversity. You
will lead groups of 10-30 intermediate and senior level GTA students, and their
teachers, on our five city walks.
Our environmentally and socially-conscious city walks are rooted in the rich
stories of Toronto’s people and history. We are seeking a creative, outgoing
educational tour guides with lots of energy.
Requirements
• Passion for interacting with students from Grades 5-12
• College or University degree, teaching or teaching students preferred
• Experience presenting to large groups
• Ability to memorize lots of material
• Must be available at least three mornings per week (from 9 a.m. to 12:30
p.m.) from April to mid-June.
Pay
Rate of pay $20 per hour for guiding; plus training paid at minimum wage.
