Senior Programmes Manager – Education

VSO Rwanda is seeking an experienced and resourceful senior manager to join the
programmes team. We´ll look to you to lead our Education programme by managing
its strategic development, implementation and successful delivery. We will
expect you to take a proactive approach to networking and raising the profile
of VSO Rwanda as a key player in the field of education. This will involve not

our volunteers and employees, as well as taking responsibility for the
financial, resource management and legal compliance of the programme.

We are seeking qualified candidates who can demonstrate prior experience of
managing education programmes successfully, and are able to use excellent
leadership, and relationship building skills to implement our education
initiatives. Your experience of project-management with 3 years minimum
practical experience of applying development principles at a project and
community level will be key to your success in planning, resourcing and
implementing the programme; as will your exposure to funding and donor
management.

For both roles, as well as a competitive salary, the package includes
comprehensive health and pension benefits. You will be well supported with
accommodation and relocation costs if you are recruited from another country.

To apply, please submit your CV and cover letter to recruitment.international@vsoint.org.
Please quote the job title in the subject line. The cover letter should detail
the reasons you believe you are most suitable for the role and outline your
current salary, benefits package and your salary expectations. Please include telephone

current or most recent employer). CVs sent without the cover letter will not be
considered.
