Job Description
The Volta Lake Transport Company (VLTC) Ltd a subsidiary company of the Volta River Authority (VRA) is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced personal for the above position.
Job Function:
Responsible for implementing IT function in the Volta Lake Transport Company:
Manage all aspects of day to day operations of computing and network services, website management and support for IT infrastructure in VLTC in an innovative and business-oriented manner
Provide and implement comprehensive IT programmes as well as expert technical advice to all sections of VLTC
Evaluate user needs and system functionality and ensure that ICT facilities meet these needs
Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software and print service
Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software system
Provide users with appropriate support and advice

Required Skills or Experience
A first degree in Computer Science or its equivalent professional qualification
A minimum of 10 years working experience in an IT environment
