About
the role
This position
provides our clients with expertise to assist them in preparing for their ASQA
Audit, as well as coach our clients through ASQA Audits. The role is
responsible for providing training in our policies and procedures as well as
ensuring that our clients have the relevant documentation in place prior to
audit.
Key
Performance Criteria
- Ensure
that our clients have a good understanding of our policies and procedures
in preparation for their ASQA Audit - Prepare
our clients for ASQA Audit, which includes ensuring that our clients
understand their rights and responsibilities during the audit - Assist
our clients to prepare for their site audit, including preparation of
documentation and files - Manage
risk for our clients, part of this responsibility includes determining the
level of risk that is tolerable for our clients and for ensuring that the
necessary treatment plans are implemented for those risks that are
considered to be unacceptable - Conduct
Internal Audits with our clients to determine their level of compliance
and provide feedback on how to improve their compliance with the RTO
and/or CRICOS requirements - Provide
outstanding customer service to all our internal and external customers - Assist
our clients with cooperating with the National VET Regulator - Maintain
and update knowledge in the RTO Industry, including changes in legislation
and regulations as set by the Regulatory body (ASQA)
Key
selection criteria
Essential
- Minimum
of 5 years experience in the RTO and/or CRICOS industries - Experience
in RTO compliance and/or CRICOS Provider compliance - Certificate
IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) or higher - Current
full unrestricted Driver’s Licence - Ability
to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision - Demonstrated
experience in vocational education and training including a working
knowledge of the Standards for RTOs - Highly
developed organisational abilities including the ability to prioritise
tasks and work quickly and effectively to meet tight deadlines - Strong
administrative skills, in particular for the preparation of staff files
and other organisational files on behalf of our clients - High
level reporting and presentation skills using a range of software packages - Prepared
to travel across Australia (the majority of our clients are in Sydney and
Melbourne) - Able to
communicate across a range of both internal and external stakeholders
clearly and effectively in a manner which promotes compliance - Be able
to work inside restricted timeframes on a random basis to undertake
research, complete associated findings and present recommendation for
corrective actions
Desirable
- Evidence
showing a background in participating in ASQA Audits or other relevant
State regulatory authority audit (ie NSW VETAB or VRQA) - Experience
in a similar role - Diploma
of Quality Auditing (BSB51607)
