  1. Project
    Manager(1)
Reporting
to the Head of Operations and leading the projects team, you will be
 overseeing multiple projects as assigned from time to time. You will have
extensive experience in project management methodologies and technologies, and
a familiarity with stakeholders relations and stakeholder reporting.
The
project manager will help to minimize cost and risks, and provide the required
liaison, documentation and everyday management of projects assigned, while
ensuring that all project products and services are risk managed, budgeted
effectively and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Your
responsibilities will include:
  • Managing
    VFR’s relationship with customers, donors and other parties, by acting as
    the central point of contact for all Special projects including marketing.
  • Manage
    Partnerships and play a lead role in integration with World Vision and
    other NGO’s
  • Coordinate
    internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of
    projects
  • Ensure
    that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within
    budget
  • Developing
    project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and
    ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure
    resource availability and allocation
  • Develop
    a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use
    appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope,
    schedule and costs
  • Measure
    project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report
    and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage
    the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform
    risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish
    and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create
    and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Planning,
    executing, monitoring, reporting and closing projects
  • Managing
    project team members
  • Project
    budget and scheduling estimation and management
  • Conducting
    status review meetings with team members and donors
  • Providing
    reports and documentation on project stage and progress
  • Any
    other task that may be assigned by the  Management from time to time
You
will need:
  • At
    least one year experience in project management especially working with
    small holder farmers.
  • University
    degree Finance/   Rural Development or related field experience.
  • Proven
    working e experience in working with international NGO’s  as a
    project administrator 
  •  Solid
     technical background , with good  understanding of small holder
    farmers  or hands-on experience  and willing to work on ground
  • Excellent
    client-facing and Team player skills
  • Excellent
    English  written and verbal communication  and report writing
    skills
  • Solid
    organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
    skills
  • Knowledge
    of Microfinance Banking  industry and international standards
    in  project management
  • Solid
    stakeholder management skills with a consultative approach to engaging
    with           donors/clients
  • Ability
    to manage multiple projects.
Special
/ Personal Abilities:
  • Capability
    and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of
    reliability and correctness
  • Must
    have initiative, as well as ability and willingness to work independently
  • Ability
    to work in the rural underprivileged communities.
  • Proficient
    in Microsoft office applications
