Production Supervisor
OVERVIEW: VICE Media is seeking an
Equipment Manager who will maintain and ensure the effective service delivery
and response of the equipment department.
ROLES &
RESPONSIBILITES
·
Fulfillment of equipment requests.
·
Checking in and testing returned equipment.
·
Picking up and returning rentals.
·
Be on call during weekends to fulfill weekend checkouts and emergencies.
·
Ensure the equipment room organized and clean.
·
Review the racking of overall production, daily with a weekly reporting
requirement.
·
Back up all hard drives & cards immediately upon return.
·
Ensure all shoot drives and cards are operational, properly formatted.
·
Coordinate drive distribution with Post Production & Production teams.
·
Update and maintain the equipment inventory database.
·
Other projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
·
3 years of experience working with production equipment in varied settings i.e.
retail, education or personal.
·
Must be able to multi task, and be detail oriented
·
Experience in record keeping and maintenance
·
Strong equipment research abilities
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·
Working knowledge of MAC environment
·
Must be able to manage heavy paperwork
·
“On-Set” experience is a plus
