We
are looking for a motivated and personable candidate to offer financial
planning assistance to the Financial Adviser including:
  • Administration
    Support – regularly follow up and communicate with clients and
    insurance / investment/ superannuation companies via phone, fax and email;
  • Offer
    Personal Assistance to the Financial Advisers and Senior Administrative
    Staff
  • Help
    manage a portfolio of existing Clients
  • Prepare
    and lodge applications for new insurance policies and super
    funds
  • Maintain
    client files and entering data into the CRM XPLAN
  • Ensuring
    all documentation is prepared prior to the client meetings
  • Assisting
    in the preparation of Statements of Advice Documents and other related
    tasks
  • General
    office duties such as scanning, diary management, answering phones
We
would ideally like someone with at least 12 months financial planning
administration experience who has an interest in developing a career in financial
services or who is studying a tertiary degree or diploma in a finance
discipline. Candidates must meet the following key selection criteria:
  • Strong English, communication
    skills both verbal and written
  • Time
    management skills are critical as is the ability to work in a high
    pressure-high performance environment
  • Strong
    computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Initiative
    and ability to operate on your own and as part of a team
  • Welcoming
    and friendly manner; and
  • Experience
    in a financial services office is desirable and also experience with Xplan
    Financial Planning Software.
