UOB wishes to recruit one (1) qualified, competent and

JOB TITLE: Education Finance Manager
GRADE LEVEL: 4
DEPARTMENT: Education Finance
REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement a variety of
Education Finance (EduFinance) Products and services.
- Coordinate with other Departments and Teams to
promote and sell the developed EduFinance products and services through
UOB’s delivery channels.
- Achieve at regular intervals all targets
applicable to product and service scale-up.
- Provide guidance and leadership on all aspects of
EduFinance to other UOB Teams and staff.
- Coordinate with Opportunity International (OI)
Network Global Microfinance Operations, particularly with OI Head of
EduFinance and OI Africa Operations Officer, in financing and promoting
UOB’s EduFinance products and services.
- Reach out to a variety of stakeholders, including
the Government, trade associations, schools and individuals to promote
UOB’s EduFinance products and services.
- Train and coach the EduFinance Team members on
all aspects of technical, relationship and transformational competencies
to help develop their capacities
- Regularly report succinctly and thoroughly on the
progress of growth and development of the EduFinance portfolio to all key
stakeholders
- Handle any other task assigned by the COO or CEO.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Lending.
- A minimum of 2 years at managerial level in
Credit.
- An experience in report writing, position paper
development and publication/presentation of research results will bring a
value added.
- To have a degree in Management, Finance or other
similar field,
- High quality selling skills are a requirement,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
in English and including report writing, position paper development and
publication/presentation of research results.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem
solving and organizational skills.
- Highly independent and driven by sales targets.
- Knowledge of MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and
Excel are a must.
