Job Description
Role:
• The M&E Specialist works closely with the M&E Advisor to support the entire ProMPT M&E portfolio.
• Primarily, the M&E Specialist works to maintain and organise all documentation supporting the project’s progress as per the performance monitoring plan.
• He/she also contributes to M&E support for NMCP, CHIM/PPME, and regional and district level staff that collect and routine monitor malaria data
Required Skills or Experience
• Master’s degree in health, statistics, social science, or related field or equivalent
• Two-three years experience working in m&E at the national and community level in malaria or similar public health disease control effort
• Skills in planning, designing, and implementing surveys
• Familiarity with evaluation methodology
• Knowledge of sampling and sampling processes
• Expertise in statistical analysis and experience in use of statistical software
• Good diplomatic, representational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and with team members and partners at all levels
• Capacity to manage numerous tasks and report in a timely manner
• Experience with local and international partners in Ghana, including both private and public partners
• Advanced use of computers including; Microsoft Office software applications, especially word processing , graphics (PowerPoint), spreadsheets and database functions
• Ability to work under pressure with little supervision
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Ghana
