University of Wales – Validation Unit Job Vacancy in Cardiff

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Validation Unit of the University of Wales in Cardiff.
The Unit is an expanding team which has responsibility for the administration of the University’s extensive network of collaborative centres worldwide offering validated awards.

An experienced administrator, you will have excellent organisational and teamworking skills which enable you to undertake specified office based duties in support of the work of the Unit. In addition your role will include organising and attending validation and review events, producing reports of validation and review events and representing the University at assessment boards. You will be required to understand, interpret and explain policies, procedures and regulations.

You will also undertake duties related to running regular payment lists and the preparation of invoice requests and commission payments for the Finance department together with providing support for the Unit’s debt collection measures.

Educated to graduate level or equivalent you will have experience of working effectively in a busy environment and the flexibility to adapt to the changing demands of the job. A commitment to undertaking extensive travel throughout the United Kingdom and overseas on behalf of the University is essential.

This is a full-time position and the appointment will be made at a salary within the range of £28,251 – £32,751
