The
role

An opportunity
exists for an experienced researcher to be employed in a one year Postdoctoral
Research Fellow position. The successful candidate will join an advanced
program of research carried out by The University of Queensland and the
University of Bath. The research is funded by an Australian Research Council
(ARC) Linkage Grant. Together with members of the research team, the successful
applicant will:

· Complete
literature reviews that can be used to inform the interpretation of qualitative
and quantitative data

· Develop data
analysis protocols for the various data sets, including appropriate techniques
for coding, categorising and writing-up the qualitative interview data, and
conducting appropriate quantitative analyses

· Interpret the data
in the light of current theory and research in areas such as social and
organisational identity, leadership, newcomer socialisation, trust and trust
building, inter-discipline work teams, and organisational change

· Assist in drafting
publications from the dataset.

The
person

The successful
applicant will have completed or submitted for examination a PhD in Management,
Social/Organisational Psychology or Organisational Behaviour with relevant
areas of specialisation including social/organisational psychology, management
or a related discipline. You will be able to evidence an ability to analyse and
report on both quantitative and qualitative data as well as demonstrating high
quality writing skills such as outputs in conferences, journals or industry
reports.

Remuneration

This is a full-time,
fixed term appointment for one year at Academic level A. The remuneration
package will be in the range of $60,829.01 to $82,510.25 p.a., plus employer
superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range
$71,169.94 – $96,537.00 p.a.).
