School of Rural Medicine
The School of Rural Medicine is seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support within the School of Rural Medicine. The School consists of approximately 40 staff from the University of New England as well as additional clinical and research staff, and significant numbers of medical staff associates with clinical operations throughout the region. The School is responsible for delivering the Joint Medical Program (JMP), which is a partnership between Hunter New England Local Health District, North Sydney Central Coast Local Health District, the University of Newcastle (UoN) and the University of New England. When the full cohort of students is achieved it is expected to enrol up to 300 students.
This position would suit a person who wishes to undertake a career in office management or general administration and wants the opportunity to develop a range of high level administrative skills.
Applicants must have: demonstrated computer experience; good interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work as part of a team and individually.

Salary: $43,782 to $49,947 per annum (HEO Level 3)
plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
