Duties:
The successful candidates will be required to
(i) assist course lecturers of first and second years in their tutorials.
(ii) Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department. The tutorial hours can be negotiated to be during out of office hours. The successful candidates will work under the supervision of the departmental tutorial coordinator, course instructor and Head of Department to achieve the department’s teaching requirements.
Requirements: At least a Bachelors degree in Statistics or relevant discipline with at least 2(ii). Teaching in a tertiary institution will be an added advantage. Preference will, however, be given to full-time registered graduate students in Department of Statistics. Applicants should indicate if they may not be able to undertake tutorials during working hours, but flexibility to work during working hours will be an added advantage.
