UnitingCare Burnside is seeking a Practice Coach to
assist in effectively implementing Burnside’s innovative
Practice Framework for Working with Families Experiencing Domestic Violence.
The successful applicant will provide c
oaching and quality assurance
support for the implementation of our Practice Framework. The Practice Coach is
responsible for training and development tasks including structured case
reviews, field observation and training,
Applicants will require:
- Degree level qualification in the social
sciences e.g. social work or psychology or related field.
- Experience in systemic and behavioural
approaches to treatment. - Expertise in behavioural assessment,
behavioural analysis, functional behavioural assessment (and teaching
these).
- Understanding of/experience in applying a harm
reduction approach as applied to domestic violence/IPV. - Demonstrated proficiency at using ‘observe,
practice, feedback’ to advance skill development. - Willingness and ability to travel.
