Business
Context and Main Purpose of the Job
Implement
accurate and timely reward related employee changes to management and unionized
payroll
Process
accurate and timely payroll for management and unionized employees data to the
bank
Execute
management and unionized employees payroll accounting and reconciliation
Generate
monthly reports and SLAs for management and unionized employees payroll
Provide
payroll KPIs reports and data as required. Manage customer expectations as
single point of contact
for
all matters relating to pensions policies, processes, queries and trend
Manage
processing of statutory deductions and remittance of data to finance for
payments to institutions and retirees (management and unionized employees)
Participate
in pension cycle briefs – support preparations for pension annual general
meetings and cascades to employees.
Ie.
Distribute communication, brochures
Track
case and grievances progress and resolutions to report on monthly basis
to
the Payroll, Pensions, Tax Specialists, HRBPs
Ensure
accurate and timely processing of tax issues and manage pensioners data
integrity and confidentiality by third party
Main
Accountabilities
Ensure
accurate and timely calculation and remittance of individual pay advice to pay
institutions
Ensure
accurate and timely interpretation and data input to payroll systems against
new reward cycle, off cycle increases, transfer / payment related calculations
for payroll accuracy
Process
statutory deductions report and remit to finance for pay-outs i.e. tax,
National Social Security, Pension, Co-operatives, etc
Prepare
monthly payroll Service Level Agreement reporting (CSR)
Implementation
of payroll KPIs to manage process verification and compliance
Computation
of final benefits during exit processes
Prepare
annual reports and manage end year processes e.g. taxation, write-off,
Support
implementation
of payroll project, process change/improvement, adjustments etc
Provide
ad-hoc data and supplementary reports as required from time to time
Reward
and payroll related communication i.e. schedules, guidelines
Submit
statutory reports i.e. NSSF, revenue authority
Record
and track customer service levels i.e. Case tracking for through-put
Manage
customer expectations and payroll queries – issues, problems escalated by
helpdesk officer / WFA officer etc
