KEY RESULT AREAS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Mine development, reviews and reconciliations
-Daily, weekly & monthly development scheduling/forecasts – metres
-Responsible for communication between departments to ensure priorities are clearly understood
-Managing minor capital and continuous improvement projects
-Developing graduate mine technical staff in scheduling, design and planning skills
-Ensuring job specific safety skills and responsibilities are met
-Assisting in ensuring compliance with, and updating of Mining Department training and procedures
-Assisting in ensuring compliance with relevant statutory requirements
-Ensuring awareness and implementation of the company’s Environmental Policy
-Upholding the company’s values
-Identifying and eliminating production constraints
-Compiling recovery plans
-Compiling statistics and other technical reports
-Any other jobs as given by his/her superiors
