We
are currently recruiting for a Production Technician for a 12 month project on
Varanus Island, WA. 
Reporting
to the Production Supervisor, candidates will be responsible for operating all
the process and ancillary equipment in order to ensure safety and production
targets are achieved.
This
field-based role will involve you working closely within a team-orientated
environment assisting with the efficient operation of all aspects of the
facility.
Key
Responsibilities include:
  • Carry
    out the duties and responsibilities of the Permit Authority gas tester as
    directed by the Production Supervisor
  • Carry
    out the field operator role (including night shift)
  • Operate
    all systems including DCS, PLC and PC for the control and monitoring of
    all process and utility equipment as directed
  • Utilise
    SAP to create, revise and complete work orders and work specs
  • Conduct
    routine calibration checks on all process equipment as directed
  • Carry
    out process isolations as directed and in accordance with the PTW system
    as directed by the Permit Authority.
  • Carry
    out sampling duties as directed.

Essential qualifications and tickets:

  • Cert
    III / IV in Process Plant Operations
  • TBOSIET
  • MSIC
  • CSTP
    (Desirable)
Applicants should
have strong experience in the Oil/Gas Industry with a good knowledge of
production processing and utility systems.
