JOB LOCATION: Jos, Plateau State
The Financial Controller reports to the Managing Director and is responsible
for:
Performing the role of strategic partner to the managing Director
Championing the development of company’s strategy, its translation into
financial and business plans & projections and performance monitoring &
reporting
Maintaining a standard accounting system to deliver financial performance
reports in line with UAC Groups and IFRS requirements and meeting set deadlines
Managing relationship with external bodies, tax and regulatory authorities and
other stake holders to ensure a fir and positive outlook for the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
B. Sc Accounting / HND Accountancy in addition to recognized professional
accounting qualification.
At least 10 years qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing
company 5 years of which must be in a senior financial role
Experience working with SAGE Line 500 and SAP (ERPS)
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
JOB LOCATION: Lagos (REF: FAL), Jos (REF: FAJ)
The Financial Accountant reports to the Finance Director and is responsible
for:
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with
all statutory and regulatory standards and requirements
Managing the company’s account payables / receivables
Tax administration covering company income tax, value added tax (VAT),
withholding tax, personal income tax, rendition of returns to tax offices an
liaison with relevant tax offices in resolving issues related to tax
computational objections and queries.
REQUIREMENTS:
B. Sc Accounting / HND Accountancy in addition to recognized professional
accounting qualification
At least 5 years qualification working experience in the finance function of a
reputable manufacturing company
Experience working with SAGE Line 500 and SAP (ERPS)
INTERNAL AUDITOR
JOB LOCATION: Jos (REF: IAJ), Lagos (REF: IAL)
The Internal Auditor reports to the Head, Internal Audit and responsible for:
Carrying out audit business units in accordance with International Auditing
Guidelines and UACN laid down accounting / auditing policies and procedures and
thus form an audit opinion
Carrying out special investigation / ad hoc assignments as may be required by
management
Assist management in the identification of risks inherent in the business and
provide reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in
place to minimize risks.
REQUIREMENTS:
B. Sc Accounting / HND Accountancy in addition to recognized professional
accounting qualification
At least 6 years qualification working experience in a reputable manufacturing
company
Must have a knowledge of risk and control environment
QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (REF: QAMJ)
JOB LOCATION: Jos, Plateau State
The QAM reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for:
Giving compliance to the company’s standard and in line with regulatory and
principal requirements
Maintaining excellent documentation systems based on specifications
Investigate the complains of customers
Process control assurance
REQUIREMENTS:
B. Sc / HND in Chemistry or Microbiology or any of the science disciplines
Not less than 5 years quality Assurance experience in the FMCG industry
Good foresight and ability to define effective quality strategy and skills
Understanding of product life cycle based on integrated production planning
Strong orientation, leadership, interpersonal and financial management skills
