Campaign until there’s a home for everyone
Every two minutes, someone faces losing their home. In our affluent nation, everyone should have one, a decent home that they can afford and keep. Shelter is challenging the people in power to make that vision a reality.
Trustees
If you have a senior campaigning role in your organisation and have experience of lobbying large organisations and public bodies, we could use your expertise to challenge views on housing policy, change lives, and shape futures. If you can spare a little time each month to be a Trustee of our charity, you could make a huge difference to others.
All we ask from you is to devote up to two days each month to making your ideas and influence felt at Board meetings, committees and stakeholder events. In return, we can offer you the chance to help people find and keep a home, in a place where they can thrive, and tackle the root causes of bad housing by campaigning for new laws, policies and solutions.
Which is quite a lot when you think about it. So please do think about it.
We encourage women, members of black and minority ethnic communities, and individuals with personal experience of homelessness who are currently under-represented on the board, to apply.
