Engineers – RFQ/ Engineering/ Promat/QA (Johor – Senai)
Responsibilities :
RFQ
• To work with the sales team in studying, preparing and submitting quotations for new parts introduction, cost down exercise and engineering change notices
• To work with teams from Sales, Engineering, Production, QA and other to review actual manufacturing costs so as to achieve cost targets
• To assist RFQ Manager on all RFQ matters and attending to all queries
Engineering
• Able to read and understand mechanical engineering drawing
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal processes & related 3D CAD
• PC literate, Microsoft Excel & Word, CAD
• Assist Project Engineer on NPI, ECO, DFM, PFMEA and CAD/CAM programming
• Assist Process Engineer on CPI, PWI, Jig/Fixture design
Promat
• Liaise with customers on new product quotations
• Launching of new product introduction (NPI) as well as managing engineering changes and quality-related matters
QA
• Liaise with customer on quality matters.
• Conduct quality meetings to ensure effective corrective actions.
• Perform various ISO compliance audits periodically.
Requirements :
• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent with more than 2 years working experience
• Prior working experience in the manufacturing industry of metal stamping or sheet metal fabrication will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, integrity and the ability to work independently.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
