1. Junior Communication Officer
 

Requirements
  • High moral standing and integrity.
  • University degree in communications, graphic
    designing or related field
  • Knowledge of Adobe Indesign (or similar)
  • Creativity and capacity to proactively take
    initiative
  • Knowledge in working with
    websites (Joomla)
  • Some previous experience in the field of
    communications
  • Knowledge of social media systems
  • Very good oral and written communication
    skills
  • Proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda and good
    knowledge of English
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to
    troubleshooting Punctuality and eye for details
  • Knowledge of corruption- and
    transparency-related issues an familiarity with civil society would be an
    asset.
Time frame
The Junior Communications Officer is expected to
start at the beginning February 2013. He/she will be offered a contract for
three months with the possibility to be extended upon satisfactory performance.
2. Project coordinator Innovation for Education
project
Relevant qualification and experience of the
project coordinator
  • Masters degree in Social Sciences and related
    field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Work experience in project management
  • To be conversant with the Rwandan education
    system
  • Experience in governance and corruption
    related research constitutes  an advantage
  • Proven experience in both qualitative and
    quantitative approach ;
  • Work experience within the civil society
    system ;
  • Experience in networking with National and
    International Governance Institutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication
    skills
  • Excellent command of English
Period covered by the project
The project is expected to be done within 2 years
starting from Feb. 2013 to Feb. 2015.
