Director – Plant Operations (Global
Computer Electronics Manufacturer, based in Singapore)

Our client, a global
leader in
the Electronics Manufacturing industry is looking for a Director for
its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Singapore. Reporting to the
Managing Director, this position is responsible for leading all aspects of
continuous improvement of the plant facility and its operation. With Managers
of the Production, Engineering, Materials Management, Facilities, Financial, HR
Admin and HSE functions report directly to the Director.

Responsibilities:

• Plant
  supervision of manufacturing, materials, P&L, quality, engineering,
  finance, HR & HSE.
• Continuous
  development and management of the business plan for the facility
• Leading
  the planning process, establishing priorities, drive cost and targets and
  ensuring financial results
• Leading
  and developing the management team, allocating resources, guiding
  achievement of performance measures and empowering functional leaders
• Oversees
  facility expansion and upgrading projects
• Participate
  in forward planning meetings to forecast new business opportunities,
  ensure proper capacity planning / utilization of people, equipment at
  optimum cost and productivity.
• Integrate
  and champion world class manufacturing programs and development of quality
  systems to support the reduction of waste and drive the organization to
  zero defects.

The ideal candidate
will have the following experience:

• Senior
  management experience in electronics manufacturing operations.
• Desired
  strong manufacturing background in computer electronics,
  electro-mechanics, semiconductor.
• Excellent
  leadership, mentoring and communication skills, strong public presentation
  skills.
• Bachelor’s
  degree in appropriate discipline
