Position Description:
TIPER Tanzania ltd has over the years specialized in offering modern and
efficient storage facilities for Oil Marketing Companies. They are now seeking
to recruit dynamic individual to fill the following position
The HSSE Manager will be responsible for generating and promoting a positive
health and safety culture at TIPER by providing expert knowledge, skills and
assist in the control of occupational risk.
Responsibilities:
To ensure that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices
are adopted Based on corporate developments, prepare local health and safety
strategies to deal with, and furthermore develop internal policies
Carry out regular site inspections and lead the in-house HSSE training with
managers and employees
Carry out risk assessment and recommend appropriate actions
Experience and Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Safety/ Life Science/ Engineering/ management Proven
experience working in a similar Oil environment, in a Supervisory role A
minimum of 10 years of experience also working at an operational level
A minimum of 3 – 5 years in staff supervision
Sound knowledge of all legislative requirements relating to occupational
health, safety and environment
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
