- Psychosocial Trainer / Clinical
Supervisor(1 Position)
ARCT-RUHUKA seeks to recruit 1
qualified Trainers / Clinical Supervisors to support and contribute to the
overall functioning of ARCT-Ruhuka program activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of
Project Officer, the trainer/clinical supervisor will have the following
responsibilities:
- Work as part of ARCT –Ruhuka Technical Team (TT)
- To develop detailed professionalwork plan and reports
- In collaborate with other technical staff ,partcipate
and contribute to developing oftraining manuals as required. - Prepare and conduct training of TOT and clinical
supervision of Community Psychosocial Workers (CPWs) as well as ensuring
high quality and professional services - To work closely with partners andensure the well going
of ARCT-Ruhukaactivities at community level - To regularly monitor and evaluate project progress
andensure that appropriate data collection and reporting - Carry out clinical supervision and counsellingsevices as
required , - Putting in place strategies to Monitor clients progress
records and collect reports from Psychosocial Community Workersand create
networksof relevant actors /stake holders for referral purposes - Maintain a data base of CPWs and clients, with success
stories /theories of change - Preparation of professional plans and reports, including
formal weekly , monthly and quarterly and annual - Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL
SKILLS/QUALITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to work effectively in teams and partnerships
with a various groups of stakeholders - Ability to prepare /organise and provide trainings on
psychosocial counseling/mentorship skills. - Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated computer based skills, including MS Excel,
Word, PowerPoint and e-mail - Developed level of initiative and able to work
semi-independently and solve problems - Bachelor degree (A0 or A1)in Counseling , Clinical
psychology, mental health Nursing with at least 3 years and above
practicalfield experience - Trainee as trainer for Trainers and/ orClinical
supervision , with provenpractical field experience in psychosocial field - Previous experience in school based education/mentorship
is preferred - Willingness to work and/orlive in a rural setting
- Proficiency in the English language (spoken and
written); Kinyarwanda is obligatory and French would an added value.
