You will work closely with the General Manager, Head
Chef, Restaurant and Bar Managers on a daily basis to ensure smooth and
successful operations of the venue’s functions and promotions.

Your responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate all function bookings, including
enquiries, quotes, site visits and booking confirmations. - Oversee all aspects of confirmed function
bookings, including provision of run sheets for department managers and
off-site hire of equipment and decorations as required. - Ongoing development of function packages.
- In conjunction with external stakeholders,
coordinate in-house events and promotions. - Coordinate the venue’s regular entertainment.
- Coordinate advertising for the venue, including
TV, radio and print. - Maintain the venue’s social media presence.
- Update the venue’s website as required.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience coordinating functions and promotions.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Great initiative and the ability to work
autonomously and within budgets. - High level administration skills and attention to
detail. - Demonstrated ability to use desktop publishing
programs for design of promotional material. - A positive attitude, with the ability to lead and
motivate the team to work towards the best outcome during functions and
promotions. - Outstanding interpersonal skills and confidence
to liaise with key stakeholders. - An understanding of the need to work flexible
hours to fulfill this role in order to be successful in the industry. - Energy and enthusiasm and a willingness to drive
the business to new levels through increased function bookings and
creative promotional activities.
A salary commensurate with experience will be
negotiated with the successful applicant. Specific experience in the
hospitality industry will be highly regarded.
