and lead our busy events catering kitchen in the coming season. We deliver
rustic, vintage-style weddings in a variety of venues across Melbourne,
including the Collingwood Children’s Farm, inner city warehouses and quirky
spaces

Farm just 4kms from the center of Melbourne you’ll get to work in one of
the most stunning hospitality workplaces in Melbourne.
The Farm Cafe is
currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised chef to run
our fun and friendly catering team. We will consider full time,part time
and casual positions. We are looking for someone with drive and like
minded food values.
We are known for our
simple, hearty and abundant food, letting the produce shine without overworking
it and focusing on quality local ingredients. We are looking for someone with
the initiative to take on projects and to enable our kitchen team to
continuously grow and develop.
The position will
start in October, ready for our Wedding season.
Our ideal candidate
will have experience in:
- The
preparation and delivery of high quality food - Maintaining
high service and food quality standards - Using
Knowledge of local, seasonal produce and current food trends
You will need to:
- Be
available weekends and evenings - Be a
team player with the flexibility and ability to work independantly and
remotely - Preferably
hold a current driver’s licence,not essential though - Have a
friendly and positive attitude and like interacting with potential clients
and staff - Have
basic computer skills - Have
experience in budgeting with produce and wages - Have
experience in staff recruitment,supervision and training
