The
Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for the
position of CDC Public Health Specialist – Monitoring and Evaluation. The
position is available to start immediately.

The
incumbent works under the supervision of the Health Management Information
Services (HMIS) Advisor/SI Team Lead and ‘is a member of the U.S.G. strategic
information team. She/he serves as a key public health advisor and CDC contact
for monitoring and evaluation strategies for HIV, malaria, TB, STI programs and
other health program activities. Additionally development of protocols for
public health evaluations (operational research projects) related to
monitoring, evaluation and surveillance systems in Rwanda. The job holder
provides advice, guidance, direction and coordination to the Rwanda Ministry of
Health (MOH), The Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) and other collaborating
organizations in the implementation and strengthening of monitoring and
evaluation of health program activities supported by CDC specifically, and USG
in Rwanda.
