Cutting and Polishing Factory situated in Serowe. The company requires suitable
candidates who aspire for excellence in Diamond polishing.
1.Technical Director – Special Stones Requirements
1.1.Qualifications and Experience
•The applicant shall have a minimum of 4 years
experience in all aspects of Management of
diamonds as well as a good understanding of diamond market requirements.
•The person will be a self starter capable of
monitoring and implementing the training and development of a large number of
staff
•Familiarity with techniques of computerized stock
control and production planning system is essential.
2.Diamond Sorter Trainer (2 Positions)
2.1.Qualifications and Experience
•Minimum of 5 years experience in quality
management of diamonds and training.
•A high level of understanding of final quality
control and the sorting of goods according to the quality, make and colour is
required
•The incumbent must be able to train and direct the
rough sorters to sort diamonds according to the specified standards.
3.Bruting Training Specialist (2 positions)
3.1.Qualifications and Experience
•At least 4 years experience as a diamond bruting
instructor
•A good knowledge of diamond bruting machines and
extensive knowledge of the operations of a large manufacturing establishment in
a diamond industry, locally, or internationally required.
4.Marker (15 Positions)
4.1.Qualifications and Experience
•Minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of
diamond marking and rough diamond handling (Rough sort)
•The candidate will be a self starter capable of
monitoring and implementing the training and development programme of a large
number of staff.
•Familiarity with the use of the Ogi machine to
maximize the yield is essential.
5.Diamond Polishing Specialist (4 Positions)
5.1.Qualifications and Requirements
•At least 5 years experience in a diamond polishing
instructor specializing in either top or bottom polishing
•He/she must be able to train and direct the
polishers to polish diamonds according to specified standards and make.
