Context Following the Formulation of the LED Strategy, the Short Term LED expert will support the Ministry of Planning and Economic Affairs (MPEA) to establish an Institutional and Implementation Framework for LED.
The main tasks will be:
• Carry out a listing and landscape mapping of LED stakeholders, practitioners and actions in the country
• Carry out a stakeholders analysis: define roles, responsibilities and interventions of different stakeholders
• Design an organisational chart for LED, define specific functions, and write terms of reference and draft plans of action for different LED structures, namely LED National Forum, LED National Steering Committee, LED National Support Unit, LED county associations, and LED County Management committees.
• Identify funding sources and modalities for LED
• Share experiences, cases, success stories from other countries
The tasks will be done through a series of meetings, consultations, interviews and training workshops with all LED stakeholders and practitioners.
