Job Summary
This healthcare Assistant (HCA) position is
r
esponsible for providing HIV Testing and Counselling support services in
designated Ministry of Health facilities.
Duties
●Giving pre testing group education on HIV testing and offering HIV testing to
clients
●Testing clients for HIV in accordance with MOH guidelines
●Providing post test counselling and linking clients to relevant services
●Storing test kits and other supplies according to instructions
●Giving daily reports on HIV testing when required
Qualifications
●BGCSE certificate, HealthCare Auxiliary Certificate
●At least 2 – 3 years’ experience with HIV testing and Counselling
●Excellent interpersonal skills
●Must be a citizen of Botswana
