Tebelopele seeks to
recruit inspired individuals who are looking for challenging jobs to join its
team for the following position;
Reporting to the
Nurse Counsellor/Team Lead, the Driver will be responsible for driving duties,
basic vehicle supervision and messenger duties. He/She will also be responsible
for carrying out outreaches and community mobilization activities such as
public campaigns announcements, and ward to ward education in different
districts across the country. The Driver will work with the Program
Coordinator, Nurse Counsellor, and Lay Counsellors in the assigned Districts.
He/She will be thoroughly versed in the TVCT standard operating procedures and
will work with the Nurse Counsellor to ensure that targets and timelines are
met.
Requirements
PRINCIPAL

- Transport
support service to the organization and staff - Vehicle
Maintenance - Community
Mobilization and outreaches - Messenger
duties - Maintains
the cleanliness and orderliness of assigned vehicle - Checks
safety of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness - Monthly
vehicle and fuel reports
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
- Cambridge
Certificate - Light
vehicle driving licence without unspent convictions - EC
licence and PrDP
SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 5 years
professional driving experience - Familiarity
with applicable traffic laws and regulations - Familiarity
with geographic location of Tebelopele centres and other key locations - Good
report, communication & writing skills

the country. The organisation has 18 centres and is involved in the provision
of free, quality HIV testing and counselling services including referrals
operating in 18 centres and outreaches to marginalized areas across Botswana.
