Team Manager – G Postcode Job Vacancy in Glasgow

Sky’s Supply Chain function has responsibility for the sourcing and distribution of all equipment required to be used in the customer’s home, together with the planning and operational management of a 4000 strong internal and external Field Force team that undertakes all installation and service activity on behalf of customers.
The key responsibility for this role is ensuring the operational performance for a team of Field Engineers that are structured to be able to make the right decision for the customer and being empowered to take action on the day to ensure delivery of right first time to the customer. We are looking for managers who:

– Keep the team up to date and informed – you’ll preferably have experience of managing communication in a remote environment
– Role model the values and the ways of working expected from others and develop a team culture based on a healthy & safe working environment
– Consider the future and how to support their teams to get there, by translating the wider business strategy and objectives into how it relates to the team and individuals
– Are advocates of change, can articulate the reasons for the change therefore effectively supporting the team through the change
– Utilise customer feedback to develop and recognise individual and team achievements
– Act on a belief that we can achieve more together than we could individually
– Act as a role model for personal development – enhancing their own knowledge by spending time on projects or managing new initiatives

You will be an integral member of a Regional Team of Managers, continuing to build on high operational performance. The Team Manager role brings a great opportunity to be Field based developing and coaching your team, ensuring your team is working within a safe environment and enhancing customer service.
