As Country
Coordinator your role is to provide operational leadership on the
implementation of all of TEACH Tanzania’s work through the embodiment of each
of the TEACH values. You will lead the operational management of TEACH Tanzania,
taking full responsibility for the secure running and sustained development of
all departments whilst encouraging collaboration with all Country Units.
Core
responsibilities and objectives:
- Programme
Management
– leading the research, design, budgeting, implementation, management,
monitoring & evaluation of all TEACH Tanzania Programmes and Projects - Finance –
responsible for the development, implementation and on-going management of
all Financial: Systems, Resourcing, Planning and Reporting (both internal
and external) for all in-country operations for Tanzania and ensuring
strong communication channels with TEACH International - HR –
responsible for the development, implementation and on-going management of
all elements of HR within TEACH Tanzania: systems & processes,
employee relations, employee engagement, resourcing/recruitment, learning
& development and rewards and ensuring alignment with TEACH
International policies and processes - Marketing
& Communications – development and
implementation of the Marketing & Communications Strategy for TEACH
International through all online & print media, to inform and
encourage the involvement of both international & local audiences - Income
Generation & Fundraising – growing domestic channels of
income through social enterprises, donors, corporate sponsorship, in kind
donations and fundraisers - Relationships
& Partnerships – building formal and informal
partnerships with relevant academic institutions, NGOs, networks,
government & local officials through the principles of collaboration
and collective responsibility - Policy
& Advocacy – develop links with public, private and
civic groups to promote the establishment of social entrepreneurship,
leadership and civic mindedness as priorities across all communities - Property
Management
– being responsible for all office and volunteer house related matters,
ensuring that the provision of an engaging work space and comfortable
living arrangements
