The IT Service
Centre Officer is responsible for the provision of 1st level troubleshooting of
reported issues, receiving and providing accurate, timely and professional
desktop and applications support to end users, and receiving and handling
incident management requests through to resolution.
Centre Officer is responsible for the provision of 1st level troubleshooting of

Your key
responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Plan, prioritise and schedule work to deliver
effective incident and request resolution. - Ensure customer satisfaction by utilising the
quickest and most effective solutions to end users’ issues. - Provide timely advice to senior Business Systems
Operations team members in order to address events before they have a more
negative impact. - Use all available tools to identify problem trends
and recommend appropriate solutions. - Ensure customers are kept informed of the
progress of their incident or request by utilising the most effective and
appropriate method of communications. - Utilise the Service Centre tools to track
incidents, requests, problems and solutions. - Maintain all relevant technical documentation to
ensure records are up to date and accurate. - Participate in IT projects as required from time
to time.
