REQUIRED
SKILLS
– Too be able to analyze and interpreted complex financial statement to
identify trends and using rations percentages comparatives
– Be able to draw conclusions and assessment impact from
analysis and
interpretations of financial data
– Broad understanding of the technical issues and ability to keep up to date
with new accounting rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
– Holder of BCOM, Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, BBA PLUS CPA, ACCA, CIMA or
equivalent qualifications and registered with NBA as certified Public
Accountant and must have at least 7 years working experience
– Must be conservations with computer accounting packages
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Participate in the formulation of revenue accounting policies, regulations
and procedure
– Check the accuracy of subsidiary books of accounts and the general ledger
– Issue debtor and creditors analyze and recommends actions to be taken
– Check the accuracy and completeness of payments vouchers, journal vouchers
and other accounting records
– Review weekly cash and debt position
– Monitor, control corporate plan and budget
– Prepare financial statement
– Perform any task assigned by head of sections
