The position of
Manager – Policy is a leading con
tributor to cohealth’s participation in policy
debate and systemic advocacy. The Manager is responsible for working with
staff, consumers and other relevant stakeholders as required to develop both
responsive and pro-active statements and strategies to represent and promote
cohealth’s position on key areas of policy and social debate.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Coordinate
the development of submissions and other documents in response to relevant
opportunities in the policy environment; - Develop
a comprehensive suite of position statements in line with cohealth’s
strategic directions and priorities, in collaboration with relevant staff,
consumers and other stakeholders as required; - Support
the development of organisational and consumer capacity and competency in
systemic advocacy; - Monitor
the external environment and contribute to the development of advocacy
strategies to influence the policy environment; and - Analyse
the implications and impact of external policy trends likely to impact on
the organization and communities we serve.
