Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager
with various projects relating to Infrastructure and Refresh projects including
the design and implementation, to join their team for an immediate start
through until June 2015.

The Project Manager will be expected to perform the
following duties:
  • Creation and maintenance of project
    documentation, in line with the department’s methodology, including
    project schedules, costs, budgets and resource management;
  • Stakeholder, risk, issue and change management;
  • Engage with vendors to support project
    activities;
  • Organising and conducting project
    workshops/meetings;
  • Liaison with team leaders to ensure timelines are
    adhered to;
  • Preparation of reports for governance bodies
    including status, exception and financial reports;
  • Written and oral reports in relation to the tasks
    as requested;
  • Some travel may be required.
Experience
Ideally the Project Manager will have the following
experience:
  • Five years or more demonstrated experience as a
    project manager. (Formal project management qualifications highly
    desirable PRINCE2/MSP.);
  • Experience in managing infrastructure,
    implementation/rollout projects Well-developed written and oral
    communication skills;
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to
    work to tight deadlines;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft platform based
    projects, such as SQL, SCCM, Active Directory, SCOM and including
    virtualised environments as well as large user and system migration
    projects;
  • Familiarity with ICT Networking based projects,
    particularly in the Cisco switching and Teleworking space;
  • Have successfully delivered enterprise level IT
    projects within Government departments;
  • Highly capable and effective in identifying
    responsibilities, services or activities when moving IT projects into
    business- as-usual (BAU) environments;
The successful candidate will be required to HOLD
a current security clearance; therefore, applicants will be required to be
Australian citizens.
