sector is the strengthening of local and global value chains.

Through its projects, Swisscontact enables access to professional training,
promotes local entrepreneurship, creates access to local financial service
providers and supports the efficient use of resources with the goal of
successfully promoting employment and income generation. In order to build 5
Vocational Training Centers in Nyamasheke (Shangi Sector), Rusizi
(Bugarama-Muganza Sector), Karongi (Rubengera), Rutsiro (Mushubati Sector) and
Ngororero (Muhororo Sector) in Western Province, Swisscontact is looking for
the following established professionals for a mandate of construction works
supervision for six (6) months:

Lot 1: 1 Architect or Civil engineer, A1 or A2 Technician in construction
(Rusizi and Nyamasheke).

 
Lot 2: 1 Architect or Civil engineer, A1 or A2 Technician in construction
(Ngororero, Karongi and Rutsiro). ,

Required profile
• Architect or Civil Engineer, A1 or A2 Technician with a relevant experience
in construction works supervision;
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in construction works
supervision for the civil engineer or architect and 5 years for the Technician;
• Fluency in French and English;
• Capacity to work independently in rural area.

Scope of responsibilities

Functions and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Monitoring and planning progress;
• Contract management;
• Cost control;
• Material and works quality control;
• Reporting;
