For the support of its new project which focuses on the physical rehabilitation of swamps’ irrigation systems in Lofa and Nimba Counties, SDC offers the following position:
Job Description:
• In charge of all logistical matters of the base in Voinjama and the field stations in Foya and in Nimba County; Supervises the work of all drivers, and of procurement and maintenance staff; Participates in procurement activities, including calls for tenders, evaluation of offers, selection process, and follow-up of orders to ensure timely supply of materials; Organizes transports and coordinates vehicle use, Ensures timely maintenance and repairs of vehicles and all other equipment; Ensures record keeping and proper filing of administrative and technical documents; Controls logbooks and monitors fuel consumption of vehicles and electrical power generators; Maintains close coordination with Administration at SDC Office in Monrovia.
Job Requirement:
•Preferably technical background, such as mechanical engineering or construction, with Degree in higher education; Sound practical experience with procurement and administrative procedures; At least five years of professional experience in a similar position; Excellent organizational skills, efficient worker
